The purpose of this role is to ensure the needs of the client are addressed through proper design and construction, with consideration of the client’s budget, schedule, and any other project specific requirements. The project managers at ACS are a liaison between our clients and services, ensuring the projects are on time and on budget.
Electrical Power Group works to coordinate our client’s technical and budgetary requirements with the design engineer. Coordinating design, plans, specs and budget with the electrical contractor are all part of our process. We assist engineers with oversight and quality control. At the end of the project, our group is responsible for electrical commissioning.
The Mechanical Group, comprising of degreed engineers and experienced designers, focuses on reviewing building facility designs, procuring equipment, providing onsite technical assistance and commissioning services. Our goal is to provide the client with the most economical solution that meets the Owner's requirements on quality, function, maintenance and schedule. We also provide technical assistance in creating unique solutions to complex problems relating to mechanical services.
General Construction Group
The ACS general construction group provides assistance to project managers in the areas of estimating, project scheduling and design and specification reviews during the design phase of our projects. We also provide oversight and assistance with assembling bid packages, reviewing bids, issuing contracts and construction phase tasks such as submittal reviews, procurement of general construction equipment and site inspections. We offer continuous service from the front-end to close out across our broad spectrum of projects.
Instrumentation and Controls Group
ACS Instrumentation and Controls Engineers offer our clients a single source or "turn-key" solution for any industrial control or electrical distribution panel needs. ACS provides contract engineering, control system design and build, PLC and HMI programming, control panel installation, control panel commissioning and on-site technical assistance. ACS Instrumentation & Control Engineers and Technicians have a wide range of experience integrating control panels into testing facilities, skidded industrial systems and building automation.
Test and Measurement Group
The Test and Measurement Systems Group bring together the expertise of testing technology with a complete knowledge of industry regulations. Unique services include vendor independent equipment specification, selection, and procurement, complete systems integration, Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) engineering, development engineering, data management and integration, and a field support network.
Mechanical Designers at ACS work with our project managers and engineers to help create custom drawings utilizing an array of design programs. Once the drawings are created to the client specifications, the components and parts may be fabricated in our shop.
An extension of our headquarters our fabrication shop, in Verona, WI, works with our clients to engineer, design, fabricate, install and commission customized equipment for testing requirements.
The fabrication shop provides our Engineering partners, as well as our customers, the highest quality customized product possible. We help our Project Engineers develop drawings, redlines and maintenance guidelines for our clients. When needed, the shop personnel is involved with on-site installation of our equipment. The bottom line: do what is needed to help guarantee success for our clients.
