Lead by eight experienced and credentialed principals, our staff is vertically integrated to provide single-source, fully integrated delivery of equipment, controls and facility projects. Working as an extension of our client’s staff, our project work extends to multiple facility locations throughout the world. Our work assignments range in scope, covering:

Scott Hoselton

President; Principal

Leading the ACS global team, Scott Hoselton has well developed skills for identifying and prioritizing client needs. Scott’s extensive contact with clients, understanding of the industry, civil engineering and construction management background, allows him to effectively communicate the value of ACS’ expertise and services to our clients. Scott leads and directs company resources to develop and foster business opportunities that result in organizational growth.

Internally, Scott is responsible for fulfilling the mission and values of ACS in an ethically sound manner leading to long term sustained results. He provides vision and strategic leadership with both internal and external stakeholders.

Kurtis Bell

Executive VP of Operations; Principal

As Executive VP of Operations for ACS, Kurtis oversees relationship management, working with end users, engineering design teams and construction contractors to develop effective solutions for multiple project types.

Kurtis brings his skills to the ACS team as an electrical engineer through the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of systems and facilities. He has experience overseeing client relationships and maintaining project scope, schedule and budget. He regularly reviews projects with client and ACS project management staff. Kurtis directs all hands-on operational aspects of the company, including operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems.

Chris Arnold

Managing Director, ACS Michigan; Principal

As Managing Director of ACS' Michigan office, Chris oversees the business development and project execution for the ACS customer base within Michigan and the surrounding area.

Chris works closely with engine and vehicle OEM’s, tier suppliers, and independent test labs, delivering testing solutions ranging from one-of-a-kind pieces of test equipment to greenfield technical centers. Having spent his entire 20+ year career working in engine and vehicle test cells, Chris understands the obstacles faced by lab operators and is adept at finding and defining creative solutions to address customer concerns.

Matt Jorgensen

Project Manager, Principal

Matt’s extensive experience in the testing industry enables him to gain quick perspective on client goals and formulate executable project plans that ensure client satisfaction.

With experience coordinating, estimating, supervising, and scheduling, Matt is an invaluable asset in the design and construction of test cells and integrated manufacturing facility projects. He also has experience designing and building test equipment, as well as on-site installation and commissioning of systems and equipment.

Bob Roth

Director of Project Delivery; Principal

Bob leverages his expertise in project management and general construction systems and techniques, to ensure that ACS delivers complex engine and vehicle test facilities and technical centers successfully and consistently.

Leading ACS’ project management and coordination, site superintendent and estimating groups, Bob focuses on leading the design, construction and commissioning phases of research and development, industrial and manufacturing projects. Mr. Roth has experience in coordinating, estimating, contracting, scheduling and supervising all construction subcontractors from the procurement through the close-out phase of the project with specific expertise in the general construction of facilities.

Daryl Rothamer

Director of Systems & Equipment, Principal

An excellent communicator and problem solver, Daryl has the organizational skills and experience in design, quality, and manufacturing to help ACS deliver test equipment and test cell solutions efficiently and effectively.

A mechanical engineer and engineering supervisor, Daryl has worked on all phases of vehicle design projects from concept to prototype build to manufacturing launch and continuous improvement during production. He oversees technical and operational processes at ACS, including conceptualizing, estimating, designing, procuring, fabricating, installing and commissioning of ACS systems and equipment. He also ensures that all systems and equipment meet the design criteria as well as ACS’ standards for Factory Acceptance Testing, On-Site Commissioning, and Acceptance Criteria Testing.

Randy Rozema

With an expansive knowledge of acoustics and vibration, Randy focuses on product development and health and safety requirements, as they relate to our clients’ noise and vibration issues in the test environment.

An acoustic and vibration engineer, Randy is involved in ACS projects from programming and development of design criteria, through construction document development to final acceptance testing of highly sensitive vibration and acoustic facilities. He leads our efforts to guide clients through project development, delivery, and consultation, delivering custom solutions and recommendations.

Matt Thiel

Director of Facility Planning and Integration; Principal

Bringing our clients true research and technology expertise to the design and implementation of test cell solutions, Matt has experience in the industrial and manufacturing testing industries in academia, as well as at ACS.

Prior to joining ACS, Matt worked at the University of Wisconsin’s Engine Research Center developing a genetic algorithm interface for experimental engine optimization, developing data acquisition software and engine interfaces for statistical response surface optimization and designing and building the engine test cell in which his research was conducted. Matt continues to innovate our test cell solutions through ongoing research and the integration and alignment of new products and services that meet client needs and market requirements.
