The 2017 Engine and Vehicle Test Facility Forum has come to an end, wrapping up June 9th with a lunch keynote on automated driving and a tour of the ACS Manufacturing Facility. I would like to express my gratitude for those who were able to attend the event, the panelists, keynotes, and the facilitators.
As I reflect on the event, there a few highlights that made this year’s version special:
- Record Attendance – Many individuals returned to the event this year, a few recruited their teams to join, and new attendees brought our event to nearly 100 participants.
- Diversity – the number of organizations and markets represented included 40+ different organizations from across the marketplace, bringing a broad perspective to our discussions and interactions.
- Forward Looking Topics – we continue to focus on bringing visionary topics to the sessions including this year’s panels on modularity, energy efficient strategies, and the value of big data.
- Attendee Engagement – the networking during the sessions and in the evening provided significant opportunities for engagement…a key focus of our event.
