VERONA, Wisc. – October 3, 2022 – ACS, headquartered in Verona, Wisconsin is honored to be part of the grand opening celebration of the Tomah IG North expansion in Tomah, Wisconsin.
ACS held the design-build contract for the design, engineering, and construction of the major addition to the Cardinal IG facility in Tomah. The 170,000 SF addition increases the total manufacturing of Cardinal IG to approximately 400,000 SF. The expansion includes one new jumbo glass manufacturing line, with the space and infrastructure to accommodate three additional glass manufacturing lines, to be added in the future. This expansion provides Cardinal IG with near and long-term capacity to continue to support Andersen Window & Door and the Renewal product line growth plans.
“We consider ourselves fortunate to have worked on this project with the great people at Cardinal so they can successfully deliver new and quality products to their customers,” said Bob Roth, director, project delivery and principal, ACS. “We specialize in designing and building facilities for complex processes and what Cardinal is doing at this facility is indeed impressive in terms of technology, people, and capabilities.”
Aaron Arntson, plant superintendent Cardinal IG Tomah, expressed his thanks to ACS for their work on the expansion. “We appreciated the approach ACS took right from the beginning of this relationship. They first sought to understand what we need to accomplish and then they designed and built a facility that supports our goals and prepares us for continued growth,” stated Aaron.
