ACS Recognized as ‘Top Workplace 2020’ by Wisconsin State Journal
2020 marks ACS’ second consecutive year as a ‘Top Workplace’
ACS, an equipment, controls and facility solutions provider, headquartered in Middleton, Wisc., has been named a ‘Top Workplace’ by the Wisconsin State Journal, for the second consecutive year.
The ‘Top Workplace’ list is compiled based on anonymous employee feedback, generated through a third party employee engagement technology partner, Energage, LLC. The employee survey measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of an organization, including alignment, execution and connection.
“At ACS, we make it a priority to compensate employees through salaries, benefits and incentive programs, as well as provide a workplace that allows employees to advance their careers and create a work-life balance, so it’s extremely gratifying to be named as a ‘Top Workplace’ based on their feedback,” said Scott Hoselton, president and principal, ACS. “Additionally, we appreciate the information we receive from the survey because it provides us with a better understanding of areas where we can improve the lives of our employees.”
ACS is committed to investing in its people and that commitment is reflected in its comprehensive health care benefits, a 401(k) employer match program, a bonus incentive program, paid time off and summer hours. ACS also has a recognition program where co-workers can nominate each other for outstanding work and partnership.
“We intentionally focus on building a culture that attracts top talent and empowers employees to achieve great things. We work hard and we also like to have fun which is evident at our monthly get-togethers and team participation in summer sports leagues,” continued Hoselton.
In addition to the individual benefits ACS provides employees, the company also invests in the communities in which they live and work by donating time and financial resources to various charities including, The United Way, Engineers Without Borders, Ronald McDonald House and Boys and Girls Club.
ACS employs more than 100 people, most of whom have extensive education in the fields of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering, construction management or industrial technology.
