With roots as far back as 1927, ACS was incorporated in 1994 as Affiliated Construction Services, specifically to meet the expressed need for single-source, turnkey delivery of complex projects. At that time, our founder was a partner at an engineering design firm and his discussions with clients lead to the formation of ACS to provide a unique mix of engineering and construction services to assure the delivery of complex equipment and facilities, fully integrated with the building utility systems.

Today, ACS is a unique total source provider of test & automation equipment, control systems, and construction management services. Our experience in each of the fields of test & technology, equipment, systems integration, construction management, and integrated facility design and delivery sets ACS apart. ACS Commitment to the Engine and Vehicle Test Industry

ACS strongly believes in evolving and expanding the engine and vehicle test facility knowledge, by sharing the expertise of world class organizations across the industry. To demonstrate commitment to the industry, ACS hosts an Engine & Vehicle Test Facility Forum every other year. The goal is to bring together industry peers in a non-commercial environment to share best practices and learn about new technologies related to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of engine and vehicle test facilities.

The Engine and Vehicle Test Facility Forum is held in Madison, Wisconsin where industry experts gather for two and a half days of interactive, technical discussions. Panel discussions include topics such as “Global Test Facility Operations,” “Testing with Alternative Fuels,” and “Cell Utilization Strategies – Maximizing Efficiency.” ACS will continue its industry stewardship efforts by hosting our next Forum in June 2017.
