ACS’s engineering disciplines embrace discrete part production and testing as well as batch and continuous process. Each practice area has a broad exposure to all aspects of research & development and production environments; they bring a keen eye to requirements that can range from designing support, transport, and coupling mechanisms for extremely large diesel engines to high speed conveying, positioning, assembly and testing of small components such as bearing and pumps. ACS has designed and built automated production systems for product test, production and assembly, quality, endurance/durability, and industrial automation. Optimal space usage and process flow are considered right from the start so as to ensure efficient use of available production or R&D real estate.
Frameworks, chassis, conveying, positioning, connecting, ducting, structural support, carts, pallets, and piping are all conceived as integral elements of the larger production ensemble. The mechanical team works closely with controls engineers to insure the final system will operate optimally in the production environment.
ACS has a complete manufacturing facility, dedicated to designing and building custom equipment. This 40,000 SF facility has electrical, machining, metal fabricating, paint, quality control, and shipping capabilities to deliver high performance custom equipment and engineered systems.
