The 2017 Engine + Vehicle Test Facility Forum hosted by ACS is quickly approaching! This event, filled with networking and informative sessions, will be taking place June 6-8th in Madison, Wisconsin. ACS puts on this event every other year because of our strong belief in evolving and expanding the engine and vehicle test facility knowledge, by sharing the expertise of world class organizations across the industry.

5 Great Things to look forward to this year at the Forum:

The Topics

With assistance from individuals who work in the Engine and Vehicle industry, we have developed a program on timely topics such as balancing the need for flexibility and standardization, managing your test facility investment, technology and its role on HSE, implementing energy efficient strategies and, not to be forgotten, the big topic of data. There will be topics for everyone to discuss. Here is the detailed Agenda for the Event

The Panelists

The panelists for this event include test and facility managers from OEMs, Tier suppliers, third party test labs and other industry organizations. A few of the panelists include:

  • Scott Ellis, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI)  – HSE in Test Environments
  • Jason Lusher, Caterpillar – HSE in Test Cells, Zero-Entry Policy
  • Mike Busateri, Briggs & Stratton – Managing Your Test Investment
  • Richard Winder, Jaguar Land Rover – Managing Your Test Investment
  • Larry Lauderdale, Kohler Engines – Developing and Implementing Energy Efficient Strategies in the Test Environment
  • Harry Keller, Volvo - Validating Lab Results with Real World Data

The Keynotes

We are pleased to welcome Dan Thoma from UW Grainger Institute for Engineering discussing Advanced Manufacturing: Smart Technologies and Digital Design and Chris Mentzer from Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), who will close our program by sharing his perspective on Current Challenges in Automated Driving.

We will have the opening reception and networking on Tuesday evening at the Madison Club and the Wednesday evening networking event at the Mallards Baseball game. The activities have always been an important and enjoyable part of the event for the attendees.

“…The opportunity to meet new people, learn new ideas and converse with people in a similar area of work is invaluable.”

Seeing Wisconsin

June is a great time to visit Wisconsin. The location of the Forum is right in the heart of downtown Madison, allowing attendees to explore the city, eat fried cheese curds, and engage in the local culture.

We look forward to having you! If you have any questions or you would like to register please email us at evtforum@acscm.com.
