ACS modified an existing space to convert a single cylinder locomotive research engine test cell to investigate emerging medium speed diesel technologies that meet EPA emission standards. The project included the integration of 450 BHP single cylinder research engine, data acquisition & control system and engine support systems.

Key Performance Features:

  • Managed the facility and support systems design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Integration services to incorporate prime equipment suppliers research engine and subsystems.
  • Installation of all equipment, subsystems and controls system provided by prime equipment supplier and/or General Electric.

ACS Services:

ACS held a single-source contract for design and construction management; equipment specification, procurement and installation; integration of equipment and facility systems; and commissioning.
