ACS designed and built two additions to expand research and testing capabilities for heavy duty truck suspension systems. One addition contained three drive through truck bays with a bridge crane and bedplate to allow for full vehicle testing and measurement. The second addition housed a full suspension testing rig, space for a future rig and the associated facility systems.
Key Performance Features:
- A 26’ x 32’ vibration isolated bedplate
- A structurally isolated addition to eliminate vibration transfer to existing facilities
- New 34 kV electrical service
- Under floor utility distribution
ACS Services:
ACS held a single-source contract for design and construction management; equipment specification, procurement and installation; integration of equipment and facility systems; and commissioning.
