ACS defines building testing and commissioning services as a proactive, integrated process for achieving, verifying, and documenting building and systems components. Our approach to our building testing and commissioning services is implemented throughout the project, beginning in the front end planning phase. We take care of the details such as scheduling, participation of various parties, actual lines of reporting, level of documentation, development of pre-functional testing requirements, and development of detailed functional performance test procedures. We also conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on equipment manufactured or assembled in our facility to verify functionality as well as minimize costly onsite troubleshooting.

In the acceptance and testing phase, we meticulously check start-up and balancing reports and conduct functional performance testing with active participation from all building commissioning team members.

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) ensures successful performance after the systems are installed onsite, ensuring nothing has changed or was damaged during shipment. This phase of our building testing and commissioning services focuses on documenting performance testing results and compiling all design, operation, and maintenance information. We develop and conduct facility and systems overview sessions and operational design intent training to ensure a smooth transition. This phase culminates with a thorough verification of acceptance to guarantee the successful completion of the project.

Training and handover comprise the last stage of our building commissioning services. Staff knowledge of your equipment and integrated industrial facility helps ensure uptime and data integrity. ACS provides customized education and training programs through classroom and onsite hands-on training sessions. Operators, maintenance, engineers, and IT personnel benefit from a more formal understanding of the equipment, process support systems, and the impact of the facility utilities to ensure operational readiness.
